Phillips Precision is a very modern, inventive, and well-respected manufacturing company in central Massachusetts seeking a highly skilled, adaptable, and reliable technical sales coordinator to support our growing product line.

The company produces an industry-leading set of fixture plates and components in addition to designing custom inspection fixture solutions. Growing sales through distribution requires a motivated and organized person to nurture customer and distributor relationships. Recent college graduates considered. ISO9001:2015 registered company.


  • BS degree in sales and marketing or relevant field, or equivalent experience; will train right person
  • Successful work experience in technical sales or similar position (internships and co-op positions considered)
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing and sales industry, including digital tools and techniques
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and the use of social media to build sales
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Technical or manufacturing experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of metrology a plus
  • Working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes a plus

Candidate will be expected to:

  • Become proficient and knowledgeable of the product line and metrology industry
  • Coordinate and integrate sales and marketing activities per company Marketing Plan
  • Provide technical sales support to customers and distributors
  • Visit customer facilities for on-site product demonstrations
  • Travel to customer facilities for open houses and tradeshows
  • Host online training videos that will become web content
  • Identify prospective customers and distributors; contact new and existing customers
  • Help determine customer needs, supply quotations on product selections
  • Follow-up with customers to determine satisfaction with products
  • Conduct market research and identify new opportunities
  • Contribute to collaborative efforts and organize promotional events
  • Coordinate with the marketing design and content teams to generate digital and print advertising material
  • Maintain and update impeccable records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasting reports
  • Monitor and report competitors’ marketing and sales activities
