More Judges Needed for State Science FairsREGISTER NOW! Please consider this intriguing volunteer opportunity - be a judge at the state science & engineering fair(s). Because of a surge in student interest and participation, we need more judges than ever before in our history. The Massachusetts State Science & Engineering Fair (MSSEF) brings together over 650 senior high and middle school students at two statewide fairs each spring. Several hundred qualified judges are needed to adequately evaluate the research and engineering work that these students have accomplished (some investing more than 1,000 hours) over the school year. Provided you have a four-year college degree and are employed in an area of science or technology, you are invited to serve on the judging panel(s) for the 2008 Massachusetts Science & Engineering Fairs. Project categories include: Behavioral Science, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth & Space Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mathematics, and Physics & Electronics. You really can make a difference. Just a few hours of your time will help to encourage these young people in their quest for science excellence. It's easy to register.
